Meet the Team

Theresa Morley, CPA,CA

Theresa Morley is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) and is a licensed public accountant. She has 30 years experience providing accounting, tax and business advice to clients and has been actively assisting clients to navigate their numbers to provide the insights they need to make sound business decisions that successfully grow their business. Theresa is passionate about helping small and medium sized business owners grow a successful business.

Theresa is certified as QuickBooks® expert in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online with its associated apps Theresa’s experience includes: junior mining companies, municipalities, not for profit organizations, construction contractors, service businesses, high tech/internet businesses, and, many other small and medium sized businesses in a variety of industries.

Theresa is a CPA, CA in Canada and South Africa. and is a member of CPA Ontario. Prior to starting Morley CPA Professional Corporation, Theresa spent nine years in public accounting and started her career in the accounting firm of Deloitte where she was a manager in the Cape Town, South Africa office Theresa and her husband Stuart transferred to Toronto in 1986 and she obtained her Canadian CPA designation in 1987. Theresa has a Certificate in the Theory of Accounting from the University of Cape Town, South Africa and a B.Sc. Agric from the University of Kwazulu-Natal, South Africa. Theresa was born in Zimbabwe and applies her knowledge of the scientific method to all her accounting work and this provides a logical and methodical approach to the practical advice she gives her clients.

Theresa is married to Stuart and has three children Clara, Devin and Karl and five grandchildren Alejah, Hannah, Derek, Martin and Rachael.

In her free time, Theresa spends time with her family and volunteering in the community through her work with the Rotary Club of Gravenhurst.

Donna Stevenson

Office Administrator

Donna is our office administrator and is the voice you will hear when you call in to our office. She may call you to set up meeting times to discuss your bookkeeping, accounting, or tax matters with the professional staff in the office. Donna is also the first person you will see when you step into our office, and she will make sure you are taken care of and see the right person, or she will accept your documents for processing.

Donna brings many years of administrative experience to the team at Morley CPA Professional Corporation.

Her excellent organizational skills, together with a strong work ethic and experience in customer service are what makes her an exceptional and very key member of our team.

With the exception of five years spent in Toronto, Donna has lived most of her life in the Muskoka area. She has 18 years experience working in accounting offices, both in Toronto and Muskoka.

Donna and her husband, Brian, have a son, Morgan, and a rescue dog named Snooper. She enjoys making pickles, camping, hiking, reading and knitting.

MaryAnne Marshall CD

Client Excellence Co-Ordinator

MaryAnne Marshall is our client excellence coordinator responsible for corporate and monthly bookkeeping clients. She is responsible for making sure that our clients are onboarded accurately and supports our professional staff by ensuring that we receive all client documentation in a timely manner before work begins.

MaryAnne brings many years of valuable experience in a variety of fields to her role at Morley CPA Professional Corporation.

Her first career was with the Department of National Defence as a Military Policewoman. Her postings included the air base at CFB Winnipeg, National Defence Headquarters in Ottawa, the air base at 4 Wing Cold Lake Alberta, and the Special Investigations Unit in Ottawa. She retired from the Canadian Forces in 1996, after 14 years of service, under the Force Reduction Plan.

MaryAnne graduated with a diploma in Registered Massage Therapy from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 1998. For 20 plus years she ran a successful massage therapy practice, 15 of those years in Gravenhurst.

MaryAnne is an active member of the Rotary Club of Gravenhurst. In 2019-2020 she was Club President. One of the major projects within Rotary that MaryAnne is involved in is Rotary Wheels for Learning, a project aimed at helping rural Cambodian Children get an education.

MaryAnne’s favourite things to do include going to the movies. and travelling the world with her husband Rob.

Diane Scott

Client Excellence Co-Ordinator

Diane Scott is our client excellence coordinator responsible for personal tax and monthly bookkeeping clients requiring payroll services. She is responsible for making sure that our clients are onboarded accurately and supports our professional staff by ensuring that we receive all client documentation in a timely manner before work begins.

Diane brings many years of experience in the Customer Service Industry to her role at Morley CPA Professional Corporation.

Diane graduated with a diploma in Business Administration from Georgina College in 2006. She started her career as a Customer Service Representative working her way to Executive Assistant at NAIT. She also worked as an Administrative Assistant in a variety of industries. In 2018 she completed the Bookkeepers Certificate program at Georgian College.

Diane enjoys sailing Georgian Bay waters with her husband on their 30 foot sailboat. When not sailing she enjoys playing cards, online puzzles and watching her favourite sports team.

Tracey McGuire

Tracey joins the team at Morley CPA Professional Corporation as a Junior Bookkeeper. Tracey is currently pursuing her studies in business administration, with a focus in accounting and bookkeeping, through Georgian College. Tracey is responsible for assisting our bookkeeping team and her responsibilities will grow as she develops her bookkeeping skills and knowledge.

Tracey is excited to start her career in bookkeeping with Morley CPA Professional Corporation. She is reliable, outgoing, and always willing to learn new things and grow as a person.

Tracey has experience working part time for a bookkeeping company in the summer of 2020 and in 2021 did a co-op placement as a bookkeeper and head-hunter for 8 months.

Tracey enjoys anything outdoors including roller skating, fishing, hiking, camping, and ATVing .
