Theresa Morley is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) and is a licensed public accountant. She has 30 years experience providing accounting, tax and business advice to clients and has been actively assisting clients to navigate their numbers to provide the insights they need to make sound business decisions that increase profitability and allow them to achieve the freedom they thought they would get from owning their own business Theresa is passionate about helping small and medium sized business owners achieve this freedom and has developed the Freedom & Growth Services with this in mind.
Theresa is certified as QuickBooks® expert in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online with its associated apps Theresa’s experience includes: junior mining companies, municipalities, not for profit organizations, construction contractors, service businesses, high tech/internet businesses, and, many other small and medium sized businesses in a variety of industries.
Theresa is a CPA, CA in Canada and South Africa. and is a member of CPA Ontario. Prior to starting Morley Chartered Professional Accountant, Theresa spent nine years in public accounting and started her career in the accounting firm of Deloitte where she was a manager in the Cape Town, South Africa office Theresa and her husband Stuart transferred to Toronto in 1986 and she obtained her Canadian CPA designation in 1987. Theresa has a Certificate in the Theory of Accounting from the University of Cape Town, South Africa and a B.Sc. Agric from the University of Kwazulu-Natal, South Africa. Theresa was born in Zimbabwe and applies her knowledge of the scientific method to all her accounting work and this provides a logical and methodical approach to the practical advice she gives her clients.
Theresa is married to Stuart and has three children Clara, Devin and Karl and three grandchildren Hannah, Martin and Rachael.
In her free time, Theresa spends time with her family and volunteering in the community through her work with the Rotary Club of Gravenhurst and the North Simcoe Muskoka Hospice Palliative Care Network.
